Every Fantasy Football League should have a Fantasy Football Championship trophy & when it comes to trophies, you have 3 different types.
Type 1 | The Perennial
“The Perennial” is the trophy that has more dings in it than the Kardashians. It’s the treasured mantle / conversation-piece that each WINNER holds onto for one ENTIRE year while they gloat and laugh at the poor attempts of the other poor schmucks.
Who’s “The Perennial” For?
- The leagues that stick around (we’d probably recommend waiting until at least year 2 before making the trophy purchase to ensure most everyone sticks around!)
- Office leagues
- Restaurant / bar leagues
- Any league where things get serious
Pros
- No one really wants a fantasy football for longer than a year (“Hey, check out my fantasy championship trophy from 2008!” – No one)
- A little bit of league history is right on the trophy with each year’s winner having their name on it.
- The passing of the trophy from prior winner to the new winner is a sacred ritual (or should be!)
Cons
- Typically a tad more expensive (up-front) than your “annual” awards
- Recurring costs (<$10 for a nameplate) (again, this becomes part of the “ritual”)
Our Best of the Best Picks for “The Perennial”
The Chromed Out Bentley
This bad boy is MAJESTIC.
The pictures don’t do it justice but I’ve seen it in-person & the all chrome (really it’s silver) finish is an absolute beauty. This one, in particular, comes in 3 different sizes (26″, 36″ & 56″) but honestly, the 26″ (pictured) is more than enough to make a genuine statement & award that ever-deserving Fantasy Football Champion.
Here’s an in-person of the darker stand version as well 👍
*The Chromed Out Bentley is $159 & comes with a FREE Fantasy Football Championship Ring (unreal deal!)

Coming in at a cool 15″ tall, these are the perfect year-long desk attire. They’re beautiful, get the point across & express to the world how big of a fantasy football nerd you or your league winner might be.
10/10 would recommend to a friend. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
*The Pigskin is $149 & comes with a FREE Fantasy Football Championship Ring (again, UNREAL)
Type 2 | The Annual
“The Annual” is the standard fantasy football championship award. It’s typically more vanilla than Jim in Accounting but DAMNIT it still gets the job done.
Who’s “The Annual” For?
- The “Year 1” leagues. Will it be a hit, will it not? Don’t invest in an annual trophy is this league might not be a thing next season.
- The penny-pinchers. These won’t be The Bentley by any means but this annual championship trophy is something to add a bit of entertainment to your league.
- The casual “fun” league. No need to spend more money on a trophy than you’ll be spending on our league entry fees. Keep it cheap and simple w/ “The Annual”
Pros
- More cost-friendly
- No year over year costs on nameplates
Cons
- No personalization
- Limited “boasting” & league history included
If going this route, still keep the hand-off ceremonious & make it a reason to go drink beers with the league. Have a ceremonious signing of the trophy, putting a ding in it with a small hammer, kissing the trophy… Whatever your thing might be.

The Lombardi
TRADITION
Coming in @ a tall 16″, these Lombardi looking fantasy football championship trophies are much of a tradition as can be. Hoist it up and tell the league that “You’re Going to Disney World” while you berate others for their foolery and lack of fantasy football wisdom.
*The Lombardi is $59
Type 3 | The Last Place Trophy
As you’re aware by now, we enjoy laughing at the expense of others here @ Fantasy Fails. If you share that same sentiment, maybe it’s time for your league to consider a Last Place Fantasy Football Trophy.
Who’s “The Last Place” For?
- Any league who enjoys berating the weak (versus or in addition to celebrating the winners)
Pros
- In Fantasy Football, it’s almost always better to celebrate the beaten and broken last place award winners than it is to celebrate the winner (“Yeah, take your money you lucky bandit, see you next year!”)
- Like The Perennial, these last place trophies become a piece of history with each loser’s name engraved year over year
Cons
- Higher up-front cost
- Recurring costs (<$10 for annual nameplate)

The Unicorn
F A I L
No one is more deserving of a trophy than the last place schmuck & there is no other trophy that provides greater recognition than this beautiful unicorn.
It’s equipped with annual nameplate spaces that will allow those unfortunate schmucks to have their names engraved into a piece of history.
This is our hands-down our FAVORITE Fantasy Football Trophy.
*The Unicorn is $159 & comes with a FREE Fantasy Football Championship Ring (unreal deal!)
Honorable Mention
Feeling like stepping away from the norm? Consider a Fantasy Football Championship Belt instead. These bad boys are awesome and we’d expect that the reigning champ would don the belt throughout the entirety of the draft!
The Championship Belt
*The Championship Belt is $149 & comes with a FREE Fantasy Football Championship Ring (unreal deal!)
Parting Thoughts
Invest in a decent trophy for your league
Cheap / terrible trophies die away and never stay involved. A decent (or great) trophy will continue to be a point of emphasis year over year in your fantasy league. With most of these, collecting no more than $5-$10 person on draft day will surely fund the one-time purchase (but a lifetime of entertainment).
If you have had positive experiences with other trophies in the past, let us know in the comments!
