AJ Green just signed his franchise tag in Cincinnati and has officially become the classiest wide receiver East of the Mississippi.

AJ Green is pulling the norm to go play in a big market and chasing vanity fame or overpaid dollars. No. AJ Green is sticking with the team that made him the once HIGHEST-PAID Wide-Receiver in all of the NFL at one point.
Not only did AJ sign his tag for a cool 18.2 million dollars in 2020-2021, but he’s also re-expressed his interest in staying in Cincinnati for the entirety of his career with signing a ~4-year extension when the terms are right.
If all goes to plan AJ Green will retire as the best Bengals player of all time, off his second Super Bowl championship in 2024. He’ll hold that title to Joe Burrow retires of course.
The Bengals and AJ are playing this perfectly. If AJ balls out, the Bengals let John Ross walk, re-sign AJ and roll out Green, Higgins, Boyd, and Tate for the next 3 years. Bengals Fans can dream, right?
